Ultrasound segmentation of the prostate is a key step for elastic registration (fusion) of magnetic resonance images (MRI) and ultrasound (US) images used for 3D targeted biopsies. To provide more robust segmentation, we propose a machine learning model for automatic segmentation in transrectal US images.
