Part 4 of the series of lectures is dedicated to neural networks (NNs). It starts from the origins of the field, the perceptron, and it evolves up to very recent trends of deep learning, including convolutional NNs, recurrent NNs and generative models.
The early days are first briefly reviewed. Then, the perceptron and the perceptron algorithm are introduced, and the first artificial neuron model is presented.
