How to Earn Educational Credits

PDH (Personal Development Hour) and CEU (Continuing Education Units) requirements are designed to keep students, engineers and academicians at the cusp of technology, research, and best practices–but they’re often hard to attain or require significant coordination.

Did you know you can now earn education credits through the IEEE SPS Resource Center?

IEEE offers on-demand PDH and CEU credits through courses from academicians and industry’s leading experts.

Both PDH and CEU credits are available with many webinars and short courses on the IEEE SPS Resource Center website.

To purchase PDH or CEU credits  

1. Select a product that offers educational credits: Look for “ceu/pdh” or the label “Educational Credits and the number of credits available for that product.
   
    
    
2. Add the product to your cart. (Note: Discounts are provided to IEEE members and steeper discounts are given to Society members) and you will be prompted to add the CEU/PDH credits to your cart too.
3. Click 'Yes' in this prompt to purchase the credits associated with that product.
   
    
    
4. Experience the purchased content and access it for up to 365 days.
5. Complete a required verification quiz, available on the course page. You have 3 attempts to pass the quiz.
6. On passing, receive an educational certificate via email or accessible under your "Purchases" and share it to prove course completion.
